Minnesota is under government shutdown - what do we really need?

The Minnesota government is under a shutdown because of the budget proposals. The reason - too much government.  Minnesota has regulations and laws for everything, you can't even poo without having some type of bathroom sanitation regulations and a bathroom sanitation certificate.  It sounds like it is getting to that level.

Now Minnesota is under a shutdown and I think it is a good thing.  There is too much government and most of this government is a bunch of BS.  Think the Minnesota zoo - the Minnesota zoo is closed down and many people can't access the zoo.  Some rich guy should start a private zoo - it will work the same way.  Licensing will be shut down - the DNR will be shut down.  That is a nuisance as well - you need is common sense.  Don't eat more than you  can handle and you'll be fine.  If you catch one fish, that is good enough.  You don't need 20 million fish. National Parks will shut down - who cares about the wildlife refuges.  Wildlife is wildlife - they are supposed to be out in the wild, not some government controlled institution. That is not true wild life.

Here are some things that the government could stand having and here are some things that are a nuisance.

Of course, the fire department is a good idea, but if people work together to put out a fire, you don't need a fire department.  A police department is fine as well but more people are placed into prisons because of government regulations.  More laws, more convicts and more people placed in prisons.  Sociologists are believing that prisons are overcrowded and the more people in prison, the more government funding is needed to "rehabilitate" the crooks. Less laws, less people in prison.  A freer market system and less regulation will result in less people in jail.  It is common sense.

The government should not have any control of your private life.  Whatever happens in your home or your businesses, it is your private property and you don't need the government on your ass.  Health regulations are a pain in the butt.  The same thing goes with environmental regulations and safety regulations.  This is showing how dumb we are to have everything "spoon fed" to each other.

Economic equality is not true with the welfare system.  There is more economic inequality with the government than in the private sector.  It looks like many people who work for the state get more money than the people in the private sector.  The state ruins everything.  Less state is better and that will result with more equality.
