How the last 20 years is seen as a crisis

The last 20 years to some is a time of peace and prosperity, but I don't think we are truly into peace and prosperity as it claimed to be.  It looks like we are in more times of crisis; it is the downfall of the American society that used to be strong.

Since the time I was born, in 1991, a lot has changed.  Around 1990 -1991, things have been great.  Communism was starting to fall, the internet was introduced, and we were entering the freer world of the new millennium.  Capitalism has been on the rise since the 1980s and many new scientific advantages are taking place.  But it looks like the course of the last 20 years, it looks like things are getting worse than better.  Here are some things:

Terrorism:  Terrorism has be going on since the time of the Bible, but it looks like that terrorism may had picked up since the 1990s.  The "big one" was the 9/11 attacks, which was basically one of the worst attacks on American soil since Pearl Habor.  Pearl Habor was nothing compared to the 9/11 attacks.  The World Trade Center was bombed before in the 1990s and there has been numerous terrorist attacks.  Bill Clinton is somehow of a terrorist by starting some snit war in Kosovo just when he is getting his dick licked.

School violence has been another trouble and it looks like it is a sign of a downfall of society.  Nobody even thought twice of killing students in a school, even the creepiest of all people.  But now people are so whacked out that they start killing people in schools.  School shootings have been more common throughout the 2000s.  I remember when I was in the 10th grade or so, there were school shootings and bomb threats all over the place, even in shopping malls, etc.

There has been a morality crisis as well.  Of course, we have our freedom of speech and expression, but it looks like things are starting to cross the line.  The radio is starting to let you get by with the most filthiest sounding music and talk radio shows, especially on satellite radio, are getting pretty raunchy.  TV is getting dumber and dumber, as long as dirtier.  The Girls Next Door is almost having Playboy TV on the TV.  There are a lot of young children, and young children should not be seeing sexually explicit stuff on TV.  Anyone could access pornography and even child pornography, which is pretty much an illegal taboo, is on the rise.  We are starting to act like a bunch of animals.  Pornography is also starting to glamorize the most taboo, sickening sexual practices.  The best sex is the romantic sex which has true passion and intimacy.  Slow, simple sex is a lot more beautiful than the "weird sex" that is starting to be viewed on these trashy sites.

There has been a downfall of the family.  The family structure has declined and many children are in messed up families.  The traditional family values of the 1940s and 1950s when America was at its high point are starting to decline at the moment.  Cohabitation is on the rise without getting married and many couples are having children without getting married, which destroys the family structure, which is the basis of a more complex society.  Gay marriage is started to be excepted, along with the acceptance of bisexuality and transgenderism.  Children are being sent to day cares, which gets rid of the intimacy and bonding between children that is needed to have true trust with the environment.  There is also a huge increase in domestic violence in the home; pure child abuse and neglect, not just discipline, that is really making home life horrible for children.

Although the practices of communism may have been destroyed about 20 years ago, it looks like the practices of socialism, communism, and Marxism has been accepted more and more in different forms, such as environmentalism. The United States is getting less and less free than it used to be.  The United States may be a free country on paper, but it is not truly a free country.  Global warming is an excuse to get more government, along with the "energy crisis" which is a sneaky way to bring back the Soviet utopia.  The United States is loosing its luster and its identity as well.   Illegal immigration is on the rise, and the acceptance of diversity, and things that are considered taboo in American society.  It is okay to have different races, cultures, whatnot in the United States, but not enough to get rid of a true identity of the United States.  Other countries, such as France, have a cultural identity.  You know France is France - it  is frog legs and ooo laa laa. The United States is now a mess - but the center of the country has a true cultural idenity and most people on the coast don't want to accept it.  We have been on an ideological battle for many years - America sucks or America rocks.

I have been born in a crisis - we have been in a crisis that is as worse as it was during the time of the Depression and World War II.  This Recession could be a small depression - it looks like it is similar to the panics of the turn of the century - the last century.  But it looks like we may have been going through some economic crisis ever since the time of the 9/11 attacks.  The dot.com bubble burst was possibly the start of the economic crisis of the new millennium and we have been going through a sociological and moral crisis since the time I was born.  I hear about a more environmental crisis - not as much, but we are going through crisis as much as other means.
