I have been reading some information about becoming less shy and little more outgoing, and I have came across a brilliant article. This article states the reasons why I tend to be shy and not as outgoing as I think I am, and it boils down to many things. But the main thing is that I am a bit skepitical about humanity.
The main cause of shyness is too much focus on yourself and on other people. Shy people also tends to have an attitude; a pretty good opinion of themselves too. They want everything to go their way and that is not the way things go. They want to be social perfectionists, expecting everything to work out and they have to understand that we are "human", and they tends to make mistakes.
Maybe I should be a little less skepitical about people and start having a different idea about humanity. If you think of humanity at the most basic, logical level, we are not much different than anyone else. Of course we have our beliefs, backgrounds, and nationalities, and whatnot, but there are many things that we have in common.
Almost all humans on the basic level are made with the same parts. The skin is an organ, and the color of our skin is based on the amount of melanin that is in our bodies, but that is perceived as race. We are made with the same biological features. Some people have bigger boobs or butts, but we all have the same parts. We breathe the same air and we drink the same water, and we all nourish our bodies with the same foods. Everyone has to eat. Everyone has to sleep somehow or another. Everyone has to keep cool and warm. We all need to obtain some type of shelter to protect us from the dangers of the outside world. There is a lot we have in common.
But there are things that make us different. We have different cultures, lifestyles. occupations, favorites, beliefs, you name it. That what makes us special and we should learn more about each other. That what makes people interesting and you won't find out what makes us interesting unless you meet new people. Everyone on this planet has a story to tell and our goal is to connect and to tell the story to everyone to create one big story.
