Why are we wasting our time?

We are all  made to work somehow but it looks like we are wasting too much time to find work.  We are in a midst of a recession, even though the media says we are out of the recession, the economy is probably not going to recover to the way it was before.  I  have a feeling that the current way of working has failed and the more traditional way of labor will be better off.  It worked for thousands of years, but why we had to change in the last 100 years.

The last 100 years or so have seen a major change in the way of living.  It has changed a lot in the last 30 years.  But it looks like this system of working is not working out.  It looks like everyone has to work in some type of office, since the factories had been sent to China.  But even when you apply for McDonalds, it is too much of a hassle.  To even be successful in life, you need to go to college to learn how to suck up to a boss and get a long with your coworkers.  Most of the classes in college involve skills more for the job seeking and the interview process.  When you want to get a job, you'll have to apply for some company, kiss the bosses butt, and try to gamble in getting a job.  But for the most part, getting a job seems to be based on networking and references, and the more Twitter, the better.  This way of employment seems to be an unfair way to employ.

The more traditional way will be better off.  For the first part, people need to eat and do that stuff, so we are made to find our own food.  In the modern world, you buy processed food at the supermarket or eat at McDonalds, or just go hungry.  But in the more traditional world, you'll have to work for your own food.  Once you work for your own food, you will appreciate it.  Hunting is a way to get meat, but there are endangered species.  Who cares - to prevent endangered species - just round up a bunch of animals and let them have sex with each other to create more species.  Once you have more species, it is time to butcher the animals and you have food.  Planting is another way to get wonderful food  - you'll get enough veggies.  Once you get your food for yourself, you can share you food to your next door neighbors.  Then you can go to the market and sell your food for everyone else to eat - the city slickers.  Home grown food is healthier and you'll appreciate it - it is not like the processed General Mills stuff.

If you got the food situation figured out - you can learn to do other things.  You can make things such as furniture, clothing, build houses, etc.  There is a job for everyone and everyone does it out of their own initiation.  They are using their true talents instead of using the gift of gab to suck up to bosses. Now we have the modernized world of the internet, which will make the selling process a lot easier.  Education could be done out of the home, just like they do in Australia, which  allows you to do other things than to go to school.

Going to town is more for a social gathering.  This is a place where you can eat out, go to dances, watch movies, and just feed the pigeons.  It is not just a place just to pay your taxes and to go to the doctors.  If the private doctors out of the home won't be that bad  - or private dentists.  You can easily start your own dental business from out of the home - you don't really have to base everything in a building.

This is probably going to be the mousy world of the future and people will be happy.  You'll spend a lot more time with friends and family.  People should be able to do what they like and to do what they are good at, and make a profit out of it.  This is true capitalism.  If you want to be a dentist, you can be a dentist out of your home.  If you want to be a music producer, you can be one out of your home.  A filmmaker - you can easily do it out of your home.  Plumbers, furniture makers, photographers, models, doctors, cooks, farmers, auto mechanics, DJs, radio annoucers - in this modern world, you don't have to even leave home.

If you want to find a job - don't find a job, make a job.  Become a window washer, a milk deliverer, a person that makes lip balm, a gardener, an animal trainer, anything.  College classes could be taken online - sometimes for free.  The internet could make anything possible so get off your butt.   Why go with this "outdated rat race" where you can be a real American.
