This guy has gotten it nailed but I am going to make a simple truth about the economy with my views as well. What we need is a neotraditional society, which is bringing back the traditional economics of the 19th century but making it relevant for the 21st century. Big business and big government is not going to do the trick, but the smaller, underdogs are going to actually keep the economy strong. I agree with this guy; the only thing that is going to make the economy strong again is less focus on the rich and the poor, and more on your average joe American.
Here are some things to fix it.
1. Make high school tougher and make a college education not as required.
2. Focus more on farming, factories, trades, and smaller businesses - regular work.
3. Have less government and less evil corporation - tax the shit out of the evil corporations and send it more for the military, etc. The rich bastards don't need that much money. The same thing with the rich bastards that work for the government too. The lower and middle class needs to have less taxes.
4. Get rid of health care and other regulations to make hiring easier.
5. Make it harder to be on welfare and to get food stamps - unless you got a true disability, etc. Try to modify work for even disabilities. End social security. All that money is getting sent to these people on welfare.
6. Try to get rid of these China jobs and have things made in America.
7. Try to focus more on the one income economy and bring back traditional family values.
8. Loosen up on child labor laws and the elderly.
