I think this is starting to hit me. I am going under a lot of stress with pretty much everything, and I think I am might be finding the source. I don't think I am that smart of a person. I barely squeaked by in the Accuplacer and I am struggling with a lot of my classes. It looks like the classes I took in high school were easy and didn't require much brains, and since I was trying to get my grades up, I struggle to get them up. I don't want t patronize, but I am feeling like I am not the brighest bulb out there and I might have to adapt to it.
Some things I am pretty bright at, such as music, but I am no genius at music. I can play music pretty good and I do have a pretty good ear. I might be very good with children or something that requires not the most brains./ I tried taking the "brainer" classes in college, such as history and even biology, and I am not getting the best grades. I like playing with my cat and I might be good with animals. Somethings I excel very well with such as this family class, but I think it is a pretty easy, fun, and interesting class. I struggle with the tests and I struggle with the reading. Logic I am just dumb with and I know I don't have that much logic. I want to get a good job, a life, whatever, but I feel like I might not be the brightest person. But I am going to get through this. Lord, help me! God, help me! Please do something! You had planned me to be on this planet for something but I don't know what.
Right now I am going through a lot of stress. I have problems in the apartment with doing basic tasks such as cleaning and washing dishes. I can barely cook and I don't think I can live on McDonalds all my life. I am getting nagged by my roommates to shut the door, flush the toilet, etc. I have been struggling with this for years. I might blame it on ADHD or I might just blame it on not being that bright.

More dating advice
I have been learning about dating and relationships in school, and I have come to the conclusion of some facts with the dating world. The first thing I have to understand is - love cannot be forced. I can't just wake up in the morning one day saying "Today I am going to get a girlfriend". This is great motivation but it is something that can't happen. Love is an emotion just like happiness and sadness. When your dog dies, you are sad. When you won a million bucks, you are for sure happy. You can't really force emotions - emotions involve a different part of the brain and you can't force it with logic and planning.
Love is something that can't be turned on and off by a switch. Love is something that comes naturally and it usually comes at the most unexpected moments with the unexpected people.
Before you can fall in love, you'll have to understand what love means. According to the dictionary, "love is an tender affection for somebody, a desire for someone, to like someone very much." The basis of love is kindness - you care for the person.
It is the same thing when a song you love comes on the radio. Everyone has a different taste in music and every once in a while, you get that song that you have to "stop and listen to it." There is something about that song you love - it may be the lyrics, the harmonies, the rythhmn, the cool instruments, the message in the song. The same thing will happen with a person - that will find something about you that they will want to "stop and get more of it".
You got to show some desirable traits to get people to love you and that is by loving yourself. There is a lot of time and energy put in these songs that you just have to "stop and listen to" - the same thing is with making someone fall in love with you. Everyone has different tastes, just like different tastes in music. You should really show off what you got and someone will just hit it off with you just like a song that you have to stop and listen to. The same thing is what that person - it may be the sense of humor, courage, strength, determination, intellect, work ethic - blah blah blah. Usually the people writing these songs put a lot of passion and love in their music, which is the same thing you should do to attract people to fall in love with you. Usually the songs we love are not mediocre - there is something about that song that makes you love that song.
So this is what I should do. I should trying make myself a better, more desireable person and let the love spread. Someone will hit it off with me just like a song you have to stop and listen to, so I should work on making myself a more desireable person.

My life path is based on GPA
I need to get at least a 2.0 to get into St. Scholastica, but I should strive for at least a 2.5 to access the college. My life is depending on this GPA and I have about two choices, and each choice is going to determine my path.
Here is one path: One path is to sluff off and not study, which means I'll get lower grades, which means I won't be able to go to college. I will be forced to work a minimum wage job if I am lucky and I won't get anything past about $12 per hour, which is not even enough to have a decent living. I'll be living at home with my parents or will be living in the slumpy apartment, not going anywhere. I'll have to work my butt off to go to college again to get education since I blew it the first time out of carelessness. I am not going to go any farther, and I will be working with these "pimply faced" teenagers, trying to find themselves. I could be possibly living at home with my parents working at McDonalds. I will be a lot like a perceptual 16-17 year old, and if I don't drive, a perceptual 14 year old.
Here is another path: I will get my grades up at least a 2.5 and I will be going to St. Scholastica. I should work my butt off in St. Scholastica so I can get a good paying job, so I could afford to buy a house, a car, have kids, get married, and do all that cool stuff that older people do. I will be a happy and more sucessful person.
And it all matters on that GPA. The GPA is going to determine my life path; which route I am going to take and it depends on the maturity level. If I am thinking like a 14 year old, I will be a constant 14 year old. I should act my age and get my act together. There is a lot of good things coming in the future if I make the right choices.
So I better make the commitment and study. The problem is the logic and the human biology, and it is symptoms of ADHD by not handing in assignments. I should get my pill adjusted so I can bust out of this perceptual 16 year old. By my age, I should be thinking about my future - I should be thinking ahead and the GPA counts this time - this is the ticket to getting me to the place I want and I am going to MISS the train by being an immature, disorganized, scatterbrained, head up your butt 16 year old 20 year old. I got time to head up my butt - head up your butt time should be when you are old and maybe in your childhood. But these head up your buttness is going to get you anywhere. If I am head up your butt, I am going to be an embarassment working with these 16 year old pimple facers trying to get into college, and picking up their finding themselves habits. I will be rock bottom.

What teens are like through the generations
Teenagers are not all the same and they are different throughout the ages. Teenagers had been around for a least the last 60 years and it looks like we are going through the same cycle of teenagers. Even though the term teenagers had been coined in the early 1940s, I have a feeling that there has always been teenage behavior; it just goes in a different form through each generation.
There is a guy that thought of this generational theory and this is under Strauss and Howe. We go through a pendulum swing about ever century and it is once again going through another rotation. This is the 21st century pendulum swing.
Prophet teenagers: Baby Boomers- they seem to be the most boring teenagers. Very stuffy and tend to have an attitude; most likely because they had become spoiled as children. Their ego centrism makes them want to change the world. They love school and they tend to be obsessed with good grades, after school activities, and then going to college. They have an obsession on vision, values, and religion, and they teen life is finding their moral identity and rebelling against the older generation.
Nomad teenagers: Generation X, Lost Generation - these are your teenager that seem very grown up for their age. They are seen more as young adults than teenagers and they seem to be bored with the teenybopper crap. They are big with getting your drivers license, getting a job, going to dances and parties. and hanging out with the pack. Even though they are slackers - they are very responsibile teenagers outside of the school world. Liberty, Survival, and Honor influence these teenagers - they want to be free from their parents - not as much rebellion.
Hero teenagers: Generation Y, GI generation - they tend to be very immature teenagers and are more just big kids. They want to make a big fool out of themselves and cause trouble. Anything that is involved with pranks and doing stupid stuff is their entertainment - think the dumb YouTube videos five years ago. They tend to be very lazy teenagers that lack motivation. This is the true slacker generation. Something usually has to wake them up to get them screwed on. They are driven by community, affluence, and technology. Social media such as Facebook and MySpace just are made for this generation while the younger and older ones are not as crazy.
Artisan generation: Generation Z, Silent Generation - these are quiet and mature teenagers, but very traditional. They want structure and routine, morals and values, and their hobby is very important to them. These are the ones fixing up a car, going hunting, baking cookies, sewing, etc. They usually like to hang out with their family and love pets. They won't bitch about things such as going to church, Thanksgiving dinner, going on family trips. Relationships are really important for these teenagers. They are big with expertise, tradition, and structure.

Harolds Camping fireballl engulfing
Harold Camping had predicted that there is going to be a doomsday fireball the will engulf the Earth on October 21, when the saved people will be raptured and the non saved people will burn to death. I don't think it is going to happen because if there is any "fireball" hitting the Earth, NASA will know about it and we will be trying to stop the "fireball."
The best proof for the worrywarts is to check the astronomical events. Lets see if any of the astronomical events are going to pose any "threat" to Earth. October 21 marks a day of the beginning of the Orion ids Meteor Shower, which happens every year. Some people might interpret the meteor shower to be the fireball. There is a comet scheduled to fly by us pretty closely on Oct 16, which is somewhat of a fireball. It is an ice ball, but I doubt it is going to be in collison course to the Earth. But if it was with collision course to the Earth, there will be a lot of devastation and may have some alterations in the climate, but no doomsday.
However, Harold Camping might be off. The closest to the fireball he is talking about and the biggest "doomsday" threat is there is a possibility of an asteroid hitting the Earth on November 8, 2011. This asteroid is supposed to fly by pretty close to the moon, but it won't be close enough for Earth's gravity to pull it down to Earth.
This doomsday scenario is supposedly going to come from space and by checking some astronomy report site, there is nothing spectular. The only thing that could be a "fireball" is nuclear war - some kook will start nuclear war and even that will cause a nuclear winter and intense radiation, which is like the final battle of Armageddon. Or there might be something from underneath the Earth, but I doubt the Earth is going to go kaplewey.
Don't worry about it. I checked the forecasted astronomical events. The possible fireball is most likely going to be a meteor shower which are fireballs.

My way of getting a girlfriend
I had never had a girlfriend (at least until now, you never know in the future) and I think many guys never had relationships before. It has been hard since I was very busy all these years and I didn't have time for a relationship to spring up. Usually kids in sports and other activities in high school don't really get girlfriends; most kids who get girlfriends are the ones who simply have a part time job. A lot of time, they find their dates through work or through church, or someone in the neighborhood. Or it might be some real good friend of the opposite sex they have known for a long time since elementary school or someone that sat next to in class or had lockers with for a long time. But if you are in a sport, it is usually someone who is in a sport just like you that share the same "jock" interests.
College is not much different, but it may be a little easier to find dates if you have a part time job. You need money to pay for dates and girls actually like guys that make their own dough; this is a sign of prestige in today's economic conditions if you actually have a job and a good paying job. That is a chick getter. The apartment/dorm is also a good place to find girlfriends because of proximity. I doubt that a lot of people in college find their dates just in class, since they are in their to learn. You need to spend a lot of time outside of the classroom to get to know someone, probably a job or something. I think most people find their mates through work or church, or someone who lives close by. The girl next door thing is the easiest to get to know somebody - they are just next door.
But I think most of the time it is this. Car+Job=Girlfriend. You need to drive to take her on dates and you need a job to pay for dates.
Here is my problem. I don't want to be whiny but I think I need to get my motives straight. I am not finding girls the right way. I am finding girls more to make a statement, not for the actual pleasure of finding a girlfriend and girls are turned off by that. Most of the time, real relationships come out of the blue when you are relaxed and doing your own thing. What I should do is focus more on friendship on both sexes - a good relationship starts out as a good friend. I should just make friends. That will ease the stress of finding a girlfriend by just putting a space between that word - really that's what it is; a friend that is a girl. I don't have to worry if she is taken or not; just have a friend. The girlfriends out there are just good friends that one day that you just fall in love with. I should STOP focusing on if she looks HOT or more on if she will make a good friend. I am starting to make some new friends in the apartment - that is good. I should keep doing that on campus. The stress will be eased a lot if I just look just for friendship and see what happens. That's why you have the dorkiest looking couples some day - they are more focused on friendship than if she is hot.
Thinking a girl is hot is just going to cause you to have more stress because of the hormones that are released through the body. I should control these hormones and let them come out when I got to know the person some time. If I am focus on friendship, the hormones of real relationships will come out, then a real relationship with actual bonding will come out. The best ones are the ones that have been good friends - I mean real good friends.
If I focus more on friendships, I don't have to be over focused on having the fantasy TV blonde on my shoulder. I wouldn't care if I have someone who is more plain Jane - even a girl with mousy brown hair or a more mediocre looking blonde. I should look past the appearance and focus more on the friendships. The TV blonde might be a bitch. Most of them are not the nicest because they have an attitude because they look hot.
So what I should do is just be friendly to EVERYONE when I want to be friendly. Look friendly, act friendly. I know I am busy but I should at least smile. Or when I am busy, I should look friendly.

Is it love or trying to make a statement
I have been liking this girl for quite some time right now and she has been taken by some other guy. This has been going on at least a few times and it looks like I am causing a lot of drama. It might be a self esteem problem that need to be fixed.
I should really think twice if I honestly want a girlfriend right now or I am just doing this to prove a point, or to make a statement, most likely for revenge or anger, or trying to fit in. I have been recently diagnosed with ADHD which is a common disorder, but I had a simple learning disorder that make people think I have been dumb. It seems like throughout high school and part of college; out of ignorance, I was pulled out of the mainstream classroom, which made it harder for me to get to know the students in the mainstream classroom and to fit in. I wanted to go to the prom more likely to prove a point that "look at me, I have a disability and I can be like everyone else" type thing than actually going to the prom for my own pleasure.
I actually went to the prom, but I went single. At least I went to the prom, but I did make a fool out of myself when I got there. Then I got mad. Then when I went to college, I was discriminated and thrown in an apartment with students with more severe disabilities, even though I only have an mild to moderate case of ADHD, which is common with a lot of students.
I think my motives were to make a statement; to prove a point that if I get a girlfriend, and a halfway hot looking girlfriend, like your stereotypical trophy blonde, then I can prove that I can fit in and get girlfriends just like everyone else. It is more of a good for me type thing. It is not for real romance - it is more for a good for me type thing for my self esteem.
I also had a hard time getting a job too but blame it on the economy these days and I didn't really had a good idea where I was going into college at that time, and I was not satisfied with my original choice for my major.
There are probably some more healthy ways to deal with this situation than to march around with a "girlfriend" just to prove a point. I am still living high school and it is DONE. Long gone. She has found someone else and she is not using him to prove a point. Her relationship with this other guy is actually a real good friend, and I might be just "using" her for my own self esteem and self pity.
Lets think of some more positive ways to prove a point. The only way to fix this is to find a more positive way to prove that I can do stuff than get a girlfriend. All I am doing is making a fool out of myself. People with ADHD and disabilities can date and do anything like anyone else; it might take a little more hard work but they can do it. There are lots of people in worse condition than me that can get girlfriends. But the thing I am doing is trying to get in my mind a "cool one", not a "special ed" one or someone that is not cool.
The one thing I can prove a point is to have good grades. People will think I am not as dumb when I can get good grades. I can also prove a point by cleaning up better in the apartment - that shows that I am responsible and growing up, and not immature. Getting a job will do it too and going into a major that will get me a high paying and prestigious job will actually prove a point better than walking around with some girl to prove a point. What I am doing is pretty childish and she knows that too - I think she knows that I am only trying to prove a point and the guy she is getting is a honest relationship.
I should also work on focusing more on friendship with both sexes - not just looking at a girl just to get the hot one to prove a point. That shows that I am dumb. A more intelligent way to do this is to focus on friends first; that will give less stress and I will have more honest relationships. I should focus on friendship and studies - not as much marching around and promenading.

The cause of the economy to go downhill is obvious: Too many pencil pushers
I am looking for what field I should consider going into and it looks like it's pretty obvious. I have been looking at the BLS and there are some pretty obvious and dead give away statistics of why the economy is going down the toilet: There is an over-saturation in a few fields, and everyone else is not going into the other fields that are needed to complete a successful society.
The highest amount of people going into jobs are in the health care field. Of course, we have this health care reform which is a joke and there will be many new medical advancements, while will create many new jobs. But there are way too many people going into this profession and they are under foot, and may need to even cut employment in the future. We are assuming that the Baby Boomers are going to get old, which they are already and they need all the health care and medical benefits they can get. I don't think so. Many Baby Boomers are actually dying at a quick rate so it is not going to be as much old people as you think. The main demographic for health care is actually needed for young people doing idiotic stuff (think Jackass) and hurting themselves, along with the STD's, obesity, anorexia, and all that good stuff, along with deliviring babies through C sections. Mental health is probably the highest section that is needed in health care - there are a bunch of psycological wackos walking around.
Professional, scientific, and technical services are also projected to have a lot of people in it too. We have this belief that in the future we have to work on making emerging technologies, most likely video games and cell phones, which are major addictions to children and teenagers these days. We don't really make any convenient new technologies, as they did back in the 1950s. A washing machine and TV dinners were good ideas; now we have more people making more electronic toys where they can check Facebook on. We also have too many scientists and they are mad scientists, trying to create genetic material so we can make computers come alive. We are creating monsters! Yikes! This iRobot movie might not be that far from reality.
Educational services also have an over saturation in this modern day of age. There are too many teachers, and not too many intelligent teachers, and we have too many teachers aides, paraprofessionals, college professors, coaches, and child care/head start people. They are annoying children than helping children and they don't get payed too much because of the over saturation of such careers.
On the other hand, there are careers that are in need for people to do work in to make an successful and balanced society. There are a need for people to work in the retail business, such as stores, especially grocery stores. Everyone is basing everything on the internet but the internet is not going to be a replacement of stores. The internet is designed for the at home business and specialty shops, but we need more department stores and grocery stores where you can buy cat food and a toothbrush. People are even ordering food and other necessities on the web, but you can't buy everything on the web. You might need to pick up something quick for supper.
Transportation and warehousing is needed too for the increase of eBiz and eBay. We also need people to sell insurance and help people manage their money, even though this stuff is BORING for a lot of people. Health insurance especially and fire insurance, since we had been having a lot of natural disasters and health care reform mandates health insurance just like car insurance.
Jobs that are very slow these days are for the ones trying to rent out houses and apartments. The housing market had collapsed and the business market in the private sector is starting to collapse, causing a bunch of vacant homes. The deadest of all the jobs are the management and that is the source of the collapsing economy. We don't have enough bosses and managers to tell people what to do and to even hire people. When we don't have enough managers, you can't find anyone who is hiring, which means you need to scrape to find work. But what we do have for managers are idiots - they hire the biggest idiots and they pay them nothing, so nobody gets nothing and we vote for presidents that destroy the economy, not gain it, by radical policies such as health care, because the president is gangsta' yo.
So basically what we need is more people running stuff, and that will guaranteed more jobs in retail, finance, and all this good stuff. So a degree in Management or Organizational Behavior is what is needed right now.
