The new concept of the news feed is good, but I think it is annoying too. Of course, it is more accurate in real life and you can weed out your annoying relatives with their pictures and their political views on the internet, but you do get annoyed with more notifications. I think they need to fix that somehow in the future by having better filters on notifications of close friends. I like the concept of Close Friends, Friend, and Acquaintances. There are some people that you know who you are, but don't have the intimacy as a real friendship or relationships. Most people have their little "clique" but if you are a floater, you have many circles of friends. Facebook is made for floaters, but a lot of people tend to have their 3 member cackle group or party group they share their Facebook photos with. Then you have these pesky relatives - yeah it is nice to have relatives on Facebook but it gets pesky with these "redneck" cousins that suck on to you when you are a 5th or 6th cousin away. I have a lot of relatives but I am not as close to them, so I don't get the redneck concept and it does get annoying when someone I barely know sucks onto you like your best friend.
The concept of Facebook is starting to go downhill. Too many advertisements, too many scandels and drama, and you are having people on the internet that shouldn't be on there like grandpa. Facebook has started out with the social networking platform - great, but now it has turned into Digg and then after that it might start turning into an online New World Order, which it has already. :P
