A message to you high school pip squeaks

There are many myths about college and you seen these myths in the movies and on TV.  A lot of these myths are not true and are practically lies, and are there for just to simply make a plot about college and to make some money on the side.  I had been through college for about 4 years and you have the same thing as high school,  but you are going to be expected to act a lot more mature in high school and have a lot of responsibilities.  It looks like I had a lot of better time in high school than in college but the good part might be coming.

High school and college are very similar to each other indeed.  You still have cliques and stereotypes in college; you have cliques and stereotypes in the adult world. It looks like that teenager stuff don't change.  Everyone in college is going there for the same purpose - they are going there to find a career or a path in life, or try to get some education or a piece of paper for a career that they want to go into.

There are  some fun things about college; you have the flexibility but it is just about as structured as high school.  Online high school and online college is starting to emerge, so pretty much we are entering this seamless world.  It seems like you need to work harder to have a social life and try to fit in these days than it used to be, even with the social networking technology they have these days.

I have been in this dorm life and it is pretty bad in a dorm life with a drop in the economy.  The fact is that you are not going to have the fuzzy friends that you have in high school but you get to meet a whole variety of different people of different backgrounds and everything.  A college dorm is a melting pot and you get a whole bunch of diversity.  I been in the dorm with people with different disabilities , different races, different countries even and you get to learn about their differences. You realize that you like the diverse, urban lifestyle or you rather be back in "redneckland."

It looks like it is a true place to find your identity and where you fit in, but I have been exposed to this mesh that you seem to get pretty weird.

I had seen just about everything in the dorm and I can write a book about it.  I had fantasized about certain people but realized that other people are not that bad. You get lots of homework, but the classes are fun and are great ways to find yourself.

I seen I am more of the more philosophical people in college but I think it might be too much time on the TV - it is time for me to yuck up and actually watch some American Idol.  But about the time I am complete; I am going to be a well rounded person with a pretty decent education and I am going to be MATURE.  College is actually pretty left but I had become more right when I was in college - I am not a big fan of government because I think most government jobs are plain boring to work in, but I am not at the level at the tea bagger level. We do need some government such as quality education and maybe a pretty decent military, and that's about it.  NASA is cool too - the space program is awesome and crank up anything scientific research, but we don't need to have a bunch of welfare and food stamp type programs. That is making people more lazy than they really are.  Stuff such as the National Weather Service is useful - practical government we need.

Anyway, but there are some survival techniques I had learned.  I think being social is important but it looks like it is very hard to be social with people you don't want to be social with.  There are so many differences out there that you don't even trust each other.  But I had learned to actually suck up to the campus food service, get a job, and try to study.  It is not a frat time in college and it is well worth it.  I do whine about not having the social life but there is actually an exchange to this. It looks like I am starting to have a pretty good philosophy on things but maybe it is time not to get all philosophical and to start with practicality.  I will be better off to start applying things instead of analyzing my bellybutton or something like that.

Maybe to solve the philosophy there is something called a God.  This will solve everything because he is the creator and he should be bowed down and worship.  God is the creator of everything and everything seems to be in his plan.

It is not going to be Superbad when you get there - it is actually going to be a different place.  A place where you can find yourself.
